Brick Layer Injured in Fall from Scaffold Accepts $2,500,000.00 Settlement
Plaintiff was a 38 yr old brick layer who fell from a scaffold while working on the tenth story. The scaffold was improperly guarded. During the fall, the plaintiff struck a parapet wall on the 8th floor and was propelled through an open window on that floor.

As a result of the accident, the plaintiff sustained pneumothorax and multiple fractures and required a spleenectomy.

During jury selection the case settled for $2,500,000.
