Russell T. Quinlan
Russell T. Quinlan has been with Paul William Beltz, P.C. since the firm was formed in 1968. Russ spent time with Paul Beltz at McDonough, Boasberg, McDonough & Beltz prior to the founding of Paul William Beltz, P.C. As one of the firm's elder statesman, clients and co-workers alike hold his opinion and counsel in high regard.
Like Paul Beltz, Russ spent time with the U.S. Army (Infantry) as a 1st Lieutenant, graduating from the Virginia Military Academy. Afterwards, he graduated from the University of Buffalo Law School and was admitted to practice in both the New York State and Federal Courts.
A myriad of highlights grace Russ' dossier. He's been involved with several landmark cases in the area of construction accident litigation, maritime law, product liability and motorcycle design. Russ has been involved in the preparation and trials of thousands of cases, ranging from highway design to liability involving motor vehicles. Russ is a longtime member of the Erie County Bar Association.
Russ argued Zimmer v. Chemung County, a landmark case that is cited everyday in the State of New York by attorneys representing injured construction workers. In fact, he and Paul Beltz have likely handled more construction accident litigation cases than anyone in Western New York. Russ is known for his sense of humor and sharp wit, not to mention the motorcycle he regularly rides to work.
Residents of Amherst, Russ and his wife, Peggy, have a son, Bill, who is also an outstanding lawyer and advisor to Paul William Beltz, P.C.
